Philip Montgomery honored as Rising Star!

Philip Montgomery, archivist and special collections librarian at Rice University — and our own AHA President this year — received a Rising Star alumni award at the 70th anniversary alumni celebration for the Department of Library and Information Science at the University of North Texas. Philip works in Fondren Library’s Woodson Research Center.

These prestigious awards offered by the Library and Information Sciences Alumni Society and the 70th Anniversary Committee recognizes state and national leaders in seven categories in the library and information professions who are graduates of the UNT/LIS program.
