AR(T)CHIVES ON THE ROW
Since its founding in 1993, Project Row Houses (PRH) has sought to engage artists in a process that connects them directly with residents, neighborhood institutions, and the environment of a low-income neighborhood. Artist Rounds are a biannual event, with openings in March and October. Each installation lasts approximately four months. The photo slide collection contains photos from the Artist Rounds, dating back to 1993.
This archives blitz was designed to engage with the general community of South Central Houston. This blitz served as a bridge between archivists and the public community by providing opportunities to collaborate on preservation activities with rare and valuable materials.
