Minimal Processing workshop, May 13

Posted by amobley on April 8, 2010

UPDATE: For those of us who are certified archivists, the workshop has been preapproved by ACA for 2 recertification credits.

“More Product, Less Process” (MPLP) has been a hot topic ever since Greene and Meissner published that famous article back in 2005. Have you been wondering how you can apply the principles of minimal processing to your collections?

AHA is sponsoring a 3-hour workshop on May 13, 2010. Mike Strom, Senior Archivist at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, will take us through the ins and outs of MPLP and help us think about how to apply it in our own archives. Munters, in Pasadena, is graciously providing the classroom space.

Cost is $20. Space is limited so don’t delay! The flyer has all the details about how to register.
