AHA general meeting

Posted by amobley on February 18, 2010

WHO: Vince Lee, archivist at the Gregory School, will be the featured speaker at the AHA! general meeting at 5:30pm, Wednesday, March 24.

WHAT: The African American Library at the Gregory School is the new archive in town, having officially opened its doors November 14, 2009. Come hear about Houston Public Library’s newest special collections and tour the renovated facility which formerly served as the first public school for African Americans in Houston.

WHEN: 5:30-6:45pm, Wednesday, March 24, 2010

Please pardon the early start time, which is necessary because of the hour the building closes. We will socialize and enjoy light refreshments for a bit to allow more time for attendees to arrive for the program and finish promptly by 6:45pm.

WHERE: African American Library at the Gregory School
